These are not legal in Alberta though there has been a request to legalize them for hunting wolf and coyote.

Are they legal and does anyone use them elsewhere in Canada? Some fellows say Snow Geese are hard to bring in and the more calling the better. CWS would like to see snow geese numbers reduced. Maybe allowing electronic calling would 1. benifit hunters and 2. attract more hunters to target snows.

It is legal in sask to use elctronic calls for snow geese as long as all of the decoys are white, so no blue phased geese in there at all. It must be legal for yotes and other species because they are selling little electronic calls in many shops now in sask. They sound aweful but thats the best some guys can do.
