was such a great hunt, and the people vantastic, could not have picked a better outfitter selkirk big game outfitters the guy knows his goats and has a great area for late season goats, (when there coats are the best )but was there for 10 days seen goats every day but 1.alot of nanies and kids, was my last day nov.8 had about 4-5 inc. snow in the valley btms.and a foot or better at 5000, but only seen 1 billy the last day almost 500yrd. away so no shot came down off the mt. thinking no goat , was using up last of film back at the truck when phil my outfitter ran to me telling me to get my gun, and surenough not 220yrds. from the truck was this nice old billy, and boy did things get exciting ill never forget it, It was dark and snowing when we came down with that billy in the pack, est. hime to be around 400lbs both tips are broken but longest tapes a fuzz over 91/2 aged him to be around 10yr old also he had no teeth, goats are not an easy hunt especialy for an old flatt lander like. but sure am glade i did it, sure ill get back to B C in the future to great not to go back i think theres a black bear with my name on it out there
