Default New rifle - time for new scope

Hey all,

Just got myself a new Tikka T3 lite stainless in 300 wsm. Now for a new scope.

Want to keep the scope under 1k, but the more under (possibly) the better.

Considering Swarovski, Zeiss, Leupold. (might also consider Meopta, Bushnell).

What say y'all. I want dial the scope. Will probably never shot a target or animal past 300 yards.

Preference is a German 4 type reticle.

Or go "low" end and pick up a Meopta Meopro 3-9x40 plex for $399?

Thinking
Swaro Z3
Zeiss HD5
Leupold VX5
Bushnell 6500

I would add the Vortex Viper and Monarch 5 or 7 with XTR turret to the short list. Outstanding scopes and in line with the others you mentioned.
I haven't looked through one yet but Tract is supposed to have some good glass for the $$ as well that appears to be in line with the Meopta you mentioned.

The Swaro z3, Leupold and Monarch are few of the best performances and reasonable prices.

Hi! I use scopes from atn, recently bought atn x-sight II hd 3-14x. I like this scope, it has a good price-quality ratio.

All these choices are great. However I would suggest in first determining when you will be doing most of your hunting. Are you going to hunt in low light areas or during dusk. If you dont need to have heavy light gathering then thats what you look for. Take your time and make sure that the scope on your 300 has a comfortable eye relief as those 300 WSM can thump. But Im sure you will make the right choice.

I personally am a huge Zeiss fan and they make great optics.

For my price range VX2 or VX3i, which is $250-450, depending on power. Larger magnification range will be more money.

I have never used a Swarovski or Zeiss, are you out of your $1k range with those?

I was thinking of VX3i 4.5-14? for around 5-550. But I can't hunt 300 yards out, it would just be for shooting paper, and someday.
