Excellent choice. Let me know how it runs for you. I'm thinking about buying those too.

I bought a Cabela’s edition Tikka T3x superlite 300 win mag. Camo with stainless fluted barrel. Bought a Vortex Viper PST Gen ll 5-25x50 paid $999.99 at bass pro. Tried several different rings and mount combos. Ended up with Leupold standard two piece rings and bases. Seem to be the lightest and able to still hold with the recoil of a 6.5 lbs 300 win. Mag. So far only shot some rocks at 635 yards for fun. Great gun good luck!

I just picked up a Meopta Meopro 4.5-14 with BDC reticle, AO, and turrets for around $500. I found out about Meopro doing research on my Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40. Have it mounted and sighted on my 7mm mag - TC Venture.

Those are all good options. In that mid range price Vortex Viper HS-T is also a great choice.

I got meopta 6-18-50 on my 243 varmit gun and love the scope. Also, used their ballistic calculator to set up the hash marks out to 800 yards

Btw just tonight I received an email from Meopta with photos of new scopes with illuminated sights with no batteries needed coming out in May of 2019.
