Midwayusa has a sale on Leupold scopes. I just ordered a VX-1 3-9X40 for $150, it is a reconditioned scope. It appears that they have stopped making the gloss and I wanted one for a blued 30-06. Then I see that Leupold has a rebate, any VX-1 or AR Mod 1 purchased between Aug. 10 and Oct 02 will get a $50 rebate. So my VX-1 will end up costing $100. Not bad.

If you are in the market for a Leupold VX-1 or Mark AR Mod 1 you might be able to save a few dollars if you do it soon.

Great deal, the one I purchased as a review unit from Amazon was around $195. Its a great scope though, one of my only gripes with it was that it was lacking fog proofing as many other scopes in this price range are both water and fog proof.

Leupold Mojave is quite promising
