Default Bushnell Elite 4200 Series first impression..

A few weeks ago I purchased a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40. For the money I spent(275), I am very pleased with this glass. Its very clear, and captures a lot of light even close to dark. Ive always owned lower quality scopes, so this glass is leaps and bounds over all my recent scopes. My dad helped me with my decision on this scope due to my budget being 300 or so. After reviewing and reading on several different options, I agreed that this glass was my best option. I am shooting a Thompson Center Venture 7mm Rem Mag, also purchased new a few weeks ago. Anyone have any experience with a 4200 series Bushnell? Thanks for reading, and for any input you may have..

I liked the 4200 Bushnell so good that I'm wanting the 6500 for my soon to be go to, 1 rifle for just about everything (Browning A-bolt 30-06).

Glad to hear. They are a seriously clear and bright scope for the money. Was simply amazed after comparing to the view through a few Leupolds at the same shop.

The coatings Bushnell outs on their scopes are intended to attrack the buyer to purchase under artificial light, when you compare a Bushnell up against say a Comparable Zeiss Nikon or Leupold in the field under normal hunting conditions you will see a difference.

It's good glass don't get me wrong, it's just not the quality you think you are seeing in the showroom,
