Inteliscope and Seek Thermal IR Night Vision

Hi. I'm with Inteliscope. We make the rifle mounts for ***********. We have just completed initial re-design of our mount to integrate the Seek XR Thermal Imaging Camera. I've attached a couple design renderings. We are working on integrating Seek's SDK into our app so that our reticles and heads-up info will be interlaced with the thermal image--this will allow the shooter to switch from daytime to nighttime use and still have the rifle sighted in. This total solution (including the camera) will be under $500. We expect to have this ready for the market in a couple months. We'd be interested in feedback from folks on this forum.

How does the "total solution" handle repeated recoil ?

Our internal testing and thousands of units in the field have yielded zero issues with recoil.

Maybe no issues with your mount, but what about the ***********? I know there are a few "high impact resistant" *********** out there but are you trying to tell us that this mount absorbs recoil or something? Because if it doesn't, then I would bet you haven't mounted that system onto a AR15 chambered in .458 SOCOM because I would bet you my bottom dollar that repeated recoil from that would crack the screen on my Galaxy which is not very impact resistant. Maybe it can handle the little baby .223 recoil but I find it hard to believe that little tiny pad you have holding the phone in place could withstand constant recoil from the .450 Marlin, .458SOCOM, or MANY of the AR 10 offerings.

If the smart phones can hold up... look out piggies!
