Nightforce SHV?
I'm familiar with the respected reputation of Nightforce optics. I understand Nightforce is now making a hunting scope, (SHV = Shooter, Hunter, Varmint). I've read the online information about this scope. However, I have not seen an example in person nor have I spoke to anyone who has used or handled this scope.
Has anyone reading have any experience with this scope. Starting retail is supposed to be about $975 or so.

Nope, have not. My hope is that it is great. A person can never have too many top shelf choices out there. My experience with the NXS compact line left me a bit underwhelmed. The built quality, dependability and repeatability were great... but the optical clarity was a bit lacking (IMO) for a unit of such cost. They do have some awesome reticles though, and the illumination system was non-problematic.
