Contemplating putting a scope on my Henry 22. Instead of buying specifically for it, I'm thinking of moving a few around. Right now I have a H&R single shot 22-250 with a Swift 3x9 and a Ruger No1 7mm mag with a Leupold Vari xI or VX-I (late 90's). Initially I intended on putting the Burris C4 4-12 on the H&R for a varmint gun and move the Swift to the 22. Upon further review, I thought the Burris may be better on the No1, moving the Leupold 3x9 to the H&R, and the Swift to the 22. So, the question is; is the Burris C4 an upgrade to the Leupold? Anyone have a C4 or thoughts on the scope?
