I use Burris at the "signature select" level, which they no longer make.

Biggest bang for MY buck at the time IMO !

One day I commented to one of our shooting clubs long time board of directors about the Zeiss Conquests he seemed to have on most of his rifles. He proceeded to tell me the only brand scope he'd buy for a long time was Leupold. But got tired of looking thru other brand scopes on the rifles of our club members that cost less than Leupolds and noticing the optics were equal to or sometimes better. He traded in about a dozen Leupolds to finance buying enough Zeiss Conquests for his rifles.

To each his own, but I've been a Leupold guy for a long time and will not change.

My very good friend feels the same way! He owns about 4-5 of them.

I happen to own many more Leupolds than any other single make, about 20-25 I'd say. Leupold makes great stuff and great sizes, such as 1-4 and 2-7 that I prefer for most all my hunting. But to my eyes a Zeiss in the same $$ range is simply a better quality scope. However, there are lots of reasons to ultimately purchase one scope over another and in the future I'll still look at Leupold, but would never hesitate to add to my Zeiss collection either.
