Yea I've found some good deals on eBay for all of them. I really like what I've read and seen out of the redfields. I guess I really can't go wrong with the vx-2, redfield, fullfield, buckmaster or monarch huh?

That Burris revolution with the binoculars is a killer deal for 169. What do you think about that?!

Oh, I have some others that you can't go wrong w/ under the Bushnell line. The Elite 3200 and Elite 4200 are both real nice scope. There are a lot to choose from, just make sure you have a decent eye relief when you buy one. At lest 4" is perfect so you always have a nice full view of your scope when looking through it. It make finding your target much faster as well, not to mention it keeps the scope from hitting your face from recoil. I take an intrest when someones looking for ideas of what scope to buy. When scoping your firearm it's important to have a good scope that works for you.

Thanks Ill def look into those as well.. I went to my local sporting goods store and looked through the buckmaster and redfield and I couldnt tell much of a difference. They are just kinda high on the prices tho. The buckmast was 360.00 and the redfield was 229.00.

The redfield when it first came out was much cheaper and everyone was buying them so all of a sudden every model went up 60.00. I dont think now you can buy the revolution redfield 3x9x40 for less than 200.00. Mine 7 months ago was 159.00 and I mean that was the price every where but now it's 200+. i don't think 225.00 is a bad deal because that scope is better than some scopes costing 300.00 anyways. I do think the redfield is a better scope than the buckmaster. I am sure you will find something good , your on the right path.

One more question I went to another local hunting store and they have a leupold vx-11 Long Range Duplex 3x9x50 that is used but they said that they took a gun in on trade with it on it and the guy had barely used it and it was brand new. I can vouch for them it does look brand new. They said they would sell it to me for 275$ which i think is a good price there about 410$ on cabelas. Is that overkill or would that be a good scope for my 30-06?

Leupold VX2 is a nice scope, the VX3 even nicer!
