Rangefinder or different scope??

I currently have a barska 4-16x50 varmit scope on my 223 and I am perfectly happy with it as of right now. I would like to get a good rangefinder and was just looking for some input on reasonably priced ones that are still good, or if i should just wait to get one down the road and update my scope instead. Any input is greatly appreciated.

JMO but LRF or CRF's are invaluable, From target to hunting. I honestly wouldn't hunt without one anymore. Had others but use/trust lieca now. Do some checking on ebay, etc might be able to find some deals on past models.

Upgraded glass(scope) is never a bad plan either.

Choice is yours.

Good Luck

What would you upgrade to for a scope

Sorry, I couldn't help it :arms: $$$$$ huh ?!?!

BTW - I can't afford them either.

Sheridan yeap i got a barska it came with my 223. I checked out them links and im gonna have to haul alot more scrap metal or quit college to afford one of those lol.

Honter,

Glad you knew I was joking................sometimes money gets in the way when recommending stuff !?!?

Everyone is giving good reports on Redfield's, especially now that they are owned by Leupold !

Hearing good things about Vortex now-a-days.

And lastly, I'm a Burris guy at the signature select level, but check out their fullfields !

Occasionally, you get good deals on Nikon's or higherend Busnell's.

Best deals - Look to buy a scope used as a demo in a good optics shop.

Sheridan
someday I hope that I'll have the money to buy the high end toys and acceesories for my guns, but for now I'll just have to work with what I got.

It's just gonna come down to researching more and making a decision and finding out on my own what I like best and what works for me.

Thanks for the input I'll keep everyone on here up to date with reviews and what not

BTW - Here are some entry level rangefinders

You should look into gandermountain. They have good prices for good quality. Once you find it, look on ebay. When something is returned, gandermountain puts it up for a low price on ebay. My dad got a $200 spotting scope for $40.
