Nikon Monarch
I am going to be hunting a lot this fall
I am out in Utah So there is a lot of open country to be seen. My question is "Is the Nikon Monarch a good buy" Any comments? |
Scope or B-nocs?
|
You have to spend a "fair" amount of money to do better. Upper end of the middle tier - IMO.

Monarch
I have a pair of the 10 x 42 Nikon Monarch binocs,
There very nice in quality . They are a little pricey compard to bushnell or ?? Well worth the money, Will be your last pair unless you want to go bigger . If I was in a area as you are I would buy a slightly larger pair . My local Gander Mountain has them at 20 % off right now.:fighting0007: |
Monarch binocs are good optics for the price. You can currently find them on sale as Nikon just released the new 2010 Monarchs with dielectric coating. They'll be closing out the previous models.

I have Zeiss 8X32 for hunting in the North East and wanted some 10X42 for hunting out west. I bought a pair of Monarchs last year on the way out at a Cabelas and they were on sale with a 50 dollar rebate to boot. They are of good quality and are lite to carry especially with the Cabelas binoc harness I use. Great value for the money.

I have a pair of Nikon monarch binoculars 10 x 42 real tree camo and they are amazing. I spent weeks looking through all different pairs. At the end of the day, I couldn't find any that could beat them for the money.
