Pentax Gameseeker?
 

Anybody use these? Im a nikon guy but im building an economy rifle on a tight budget for a bet with a buddy. Any info good or bad would be appreciated.

I did the samething your doing. I put toghether a cheap 30-06 with a 2.8-10x50 Gameseeker I picked up on e-bay for 71.00 shipping and all. Two of my hunting buddies use Pentax and have for years. They are clear, bright and never loose adjument after shooting them. For an inexpensive scope you just can't beat em.

I'm with you. I prefer Nikon. For the price, though, I think you'll be plenty happy with the Pentax. I've tested them and found them to be pretty good.

Besides, I had a Pentax Camera for years. It took some serious abuse and performed well.
