I use Warne QD's on my muzzleloaders and been extremely pleased. I also have warne maxima fixed rings/bases which have been rock solid. I haverifles withLeupold Double Dovetails and no issues. I chose Talley'slightweights for my 338wmlast year and they've proven. All of these mounts have proven trustworthy for the conditions that canada can bring and been subjected to more then just a walk too & fro(ATV's, Horseback, Boats, etc.)

Depending on the scope Warne QD Ring's:
Low - 200L (G-gloss, M - matte or S- Silver)
Med - 201L

Bases required for Rem 7600 are:
2 piece Steel - M894/870
1 Piece Steel - A995

I've mostly only used leupolds, single dovetail, but I kinda like the dual dovetail, I rarely see them though.

My last 2 sets I've bought have been Talley's, 1 screw lok, 1 lightweight 1 pieces, they're very nice.

Use lock tite, and do you lapp the rings? something to consider doing....did it for the first time on my last set of talley's pretty easy to do well.

I use Leupold and some have been on centerfire rifles for 40 years with no problems. Be careful with loctite - use the blue, which is removeable.

I have Leupold bases and rings on my Rem 700 and like them okay. I have Traditions weaver style bases and rings onboth my Remington Genesis rifles and like them fine also. I have Warne weaver style base/rings on my T/C Encore Endeavor and absolutely love them. They are by far the sturdiest rings out of them all.
