Anyone try the Truglo 1 x 30mm Dual Color on a Shotgun?

Anybody try this sight? I'm thinking about throwing one on my 12 ga Mossberg 930 for slug shooting. Everywhere I look, the Truglo sights get pretty good reviews, but the one I bought has some flare to the dots. I will exchange and see if the next one is better. Am I just trying to make poop not stink, or is this an ok sight?

I have a 2x42 truglo on my 870. Works great.

Any zero trouble, or trouble with the 1 MOA clicks varying in size?

I did have a hard time getting on paper. It was shooting extremely high at first. Found a small laser pointer that I had, set the laser in the barrel and bore sighted. After that it was a brease. My 870 with a smooth slug barrel (18.5in), and Win super-x rifled slugs will shoot 2-3 inch groups at 50 yds, and 4-5 inch groups at 75 yds. Heres a pic of the gun with a doe I shot earlier this year.

I like the 2x one. Is there eye relief to deal with on that one, or if it like a 1x somehow?

No. Look thru them first though. I think I would buy the 1x over the 2x if I could do it over. FOV is a little less because of the magnification I believe. Just remember to keep both eyes open when looking thru them.
