cabelas bore sighter
just went out today to resight my scope in and cabelas bore sighters suck!! bore sighted my 270 and my buddys 30.06 in at30 yards and couldnt hit the paper at 70yards!!! my 270 was hitting 2in above the paper and the 30.06 was hitting about 2in off to the right of the paper.so i had to do it the oldfashion way and finally got them dialed in.
the bore sighter is the laser kind that is shaped like ashell and you load it like a shell. such a waste of money and ammo.

I have used the laser boresighter that goes in the end of the barrel. I adjust the scope at night. Shine the laser on something 100+ yards away and dial the scope right on the dot. Done in just a couple minutes. I did a .223 and a .50 MLer. Both were within 5" of the bull at 100 yards on the first shot.
