yukon night vision
should i mount the nvm on the front or the back of the scope. it only has 12mm of eye relief and im shooting .223 with a muzzle brake. i think if i put it on the back i will get scope eye but im not sure how much recoil there is, i never shot a .223. and how will it affect the night vision through the scope.

RE: yukon night vision
I don't think that is going to work, but I would have to research it. If the night vision has any sort of magnification to it I don't think it will work either in the front or the back. Doubling up optics normally doesn't work out all that well.
12mm of eye relief![:o]. .223 guns normally don't have much recoil to speak of, but that is cutting it pretty close. Most scopes have between 2 and 3 inches of eye relief. How are you going to mount this contraption? I would really like to see a picture of what you intend on doing. Paul |
RE: yukon night vision
well im gonna put it on a tikka t3 and ya i kinda thought it was close to thats why i thought aboutin front of the scope.i was going to mount it on the rail. and i think its a 1 or 2 power nvm. or what about just getting a head set for the monocluar but i think it might move to much and be hard to aim.
