Always had Leupolds but tried a Conquest. A bit better and clearer in low light but not by much and not worth the price difference. Burris Black Diamond blows them away on brightness and clarity at all power. Less money than the Conquest too.

The Zeiss Conquest is clearer and gathers more light.I have a Zeiss Conquest on a 30/06 that I never use and a VXIII on a .270 that I use all the time and I will be swapping them.

i have a zeiss conquest 3.5x10x50 and my boss has a few vari x 3's and he said he like the zeiss i have better than his,this is the best scope i have ever had but i have never looked threw the lupy
