Default New Bushnell 6500

Has anyone saw one, or heard things about them yet. They just came out, not even on Bushnells website yet. But they are on the back page of the new Cabelas Shooting mag. They have a 30mm tube, and one is a 2.5-16x42 or 50the other is a 4.5-30x50, if they are as good as their price says they are, then they should be up there with the big names.

There has been a BUZZ about them on the OT Forum at S.W.F.A. for a few weeks. That unit (2.5-16 X 42) retails for about 7 bills... for that I'd much rather have a Kahles! Whatever lifts your skirt.

Well they are almost priced there aren't they. Japanese glass still not as good as Euro glass

I really want to get my hands on one.
4.5-30 power...just WOW!!
very pricey though
Maybe it will go good with that new Winchester 70 Extreme Weather Classic I have been looking at !!

There have been a number of new scopes this year with more then 3x zoom. The Sightron, The NIkon , The Swaro and now this out of all of them the Swaro is as advertised. I would have to look at this Bushnell 6500 before I pull the trigger on it.. Hopefully they got away from the heavy weight, long tube(with exception of the discontinued 3-9x40) ,critical eyebox short eye relief model they used previously. Their glass is very good better then the other brands I mentioned except Swaro...

Look real nice to me. I currently have the B&L 4000 4-16 50mm (same as 4200) and I LOVE this scope so I would have no reservations getting this one with the additions of the firefly and the rainguard! 4" eye relief as well, thats better!
