For hunting or for targets?
At what range(s)?
On what rifle?
In what caliber?
In what finish?
From a bench, in a stand, walking, on horses, while climbing mountains?
Is total weight a consideration?

Swaro AV 3-9 X 36. Great with the TDS reticle. Light, compact, great glass. Works nifty on light weight mountain hunting type rifles. Probably around 9 bills. The Luppy mentioned is also pretty darn good (but optically, it's not in the same class) but it's certainly usable for it's intended purpose.
