Toughest Scope rings and Bases?

Hey all. In your opinion, What is the toughest, most stable base ring combo that you have used. I know alot of you will say "heck I always used weaver or millet or etc." and so have I. But I want the best, toughest, most stable rig out there. I spent 500 on the rifle, 600 on the scope so I am not afraid of spending money on a good system.
Thanks

I like Warne bases and rings. I installed the on my new Remington 700xcr and put a Burris Euro-Diamond 2.5x10x 44mm scope.

Leupold Double Dovetail and/or Warne Maxima's are my choice. Both have endured tough milesand yet to have a problem with either.

I also use and like Warne scope mounts. They are well made and durable. They are vertically split also (which I like the looks of).

I guess you found your answer.

The toughest ones are the ones that cost the most.

One thing you are not looking at is that a scope is a precision instrument and should not be subjected to abuse.

It is more important to take care of your possessions than it is to look for something that is able to take more abuse.

I use Weaver Dove Tail mounts and they are as sturdy as you will ever need.

I have old Redfield Mounts on some of my rifles and they are better than the Weaver Rail type mountswhen it comes to adjustments to the centerline of the scope. You should not move the crosshairs much left to right - to center your scope when you mount it and bore sight it. If it is not in the center, then the mounts are to blame and should be adjusted.

All scopes are centered from the factory when new!

Badger ordinance... Hands down the very best rings. Heavy, and somewhat expensive. Around $200 or. As a military tactical shooter, I will buy nothing else.

Conetrol makes the strongest mounts by weight. Seekins, Badger, et al have to overbuild the picatinny design just to get close.

You'll get what you pay for.

I've spent as little as $15 on rings for smaller caliber rifles, and as much as $90 for higher-end rings. My "standards" have been Leupolds and Redfields, neither of which have ever let me down. Can't say the same for the cheaper stuff except on .22 rimfires.
