Bushnell Elite 4200 - Firefly
I'm thinking about getting a Bushnell 4200 2.5-10 x 40 scope with the Firefly reticle. Does anyone have one of these? What do you think about it?

RE: Bushnell Elite 4200 - Firefly
I have one. Its a great scope but honestly if I did it again I wouldn't have paid extra for the firefly, unless you are going to use this to hunt at night. The scope is extremely bright and doesnt need the glowing x-hairs for normal hunting. Also the very middle of the x-hairs dont glow, which I thought was kinda odd.
IMO I think you maybetter off with the 3-9x40 4200 since itll save you about 100$. SWFA.com has some good deals on them. They are a bit lighter and smaller then the 2.5-10. You'll be ablevery happy with how bright and clear the 4200'are.Buying my first 4200 led me to selling all my Leupy's and have nothing but Elite scopes on all my rifles. |

I've got a 4200 without the firefly. Been great. I see no real need for the FF reticle. Good luck with your selection.
