Bushnell Elite 4200 - Firefly

I'm thinking about getting a Bushnell 4200 2.5-10 x 40 scope with the Firefly reticle. Does anyone have one of these? What do you think about it?

I have one. Its a great scope but honestly if I did it again I wouldn't have paid extra for the firefly, unless you are going to use this to hunt at night. The scope is extremely bright and doesnt need the glowing x-hairs for normal hunting. Also the very middle of the x-hairs dont glow, which I thought was kinda odd.

IMO I think you maybetter off with the 3-9x40 4200 since itll save you about 100$. SWFA.com has some good deals on them. They are a bit lighter and smaller then the 2.5-10.

You'll be ablevery happy with how bright and clear the 4200'are.Buying my first 4200 led me to selling all my Leupy's and have nothing but Elite scopes on all my rifles.

I've got a 4200 without the firefly. Been great. I see no real need for the FF reticle. Good luck with your selection.
