RE: scopes

I have been using a bushnell banner 1.5-4.5 power scope on mine. The scope is far from high tech, but has been clear and held up well for the past 4 years.

Either a 4X fixed or a variable 1-4X should do the trick.

I have a Nikon Monarch fixed 4x on my 336. I love it.

RE: scopes

try a peep sight, alot better than the traditional iron sights esp if you having troubles focusing on the rear sight. and its fast to line up on target.

I agree. I had a Williamspeep set on mine prior to putting on the scope and it worked very well. Good visibility and I was getting2" groups @ 90 yards with it with my 336.
