Default Nikon Prostaff

Are you guys pretty happy with these scopes. THere are some amazing prices on them on the net for closeout deals and refurbs etc. I know they arent top of the line stuff but am putting together a gun with some less expensive components and wanted to see what the owners of these thought compared to their higher dollar scopes or if there were any probs or any regrets buying one.

My Nikon 4X Prostaff has been on a muzzleloader for about three years and 400-500 shots. No problem with it at all. It is apretty good low light scope for the price.

I just bought a Pro Staff 2x7x32 last month, it's unreal how clear the optics are. I have it mounted on my 1187 slug gun. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet since changing scopes. Headed down to Southern Illinois this weekend and will go over to the Gander Mountain in Paducah. May try to pick up another one for my new ML which is what the first one was suppose to be for.

I have a 2x7x32 prostaff on my savage ML and it has worked great. You are right that it is far from being a top of the line scope with all the extras, but a sturdy and useful scope. It has a full lifetime warranty as well. I got mine for $129 from Sportsmans warehouse, so the price is very reasonable as well.
