Konus?
 

Can anyone tell me what kind of quality a konus scope has....looking at a KonusPro 3-10x44 w/Illumintated reticle. I saw it at a gun show this weekend price was a little steep for $139...found online for $85.Never heard of them before. Just thought I'd ask. thanks!

I know nothing about them. I would be wary of them though. I think that bottom-line quality scopes, such as a nikon prostaffare gonna run you in the low to mid $100's. I would look to spend this amount for something decent if you are planning to mount on a centerfire rifle. If you were going to put on a .22 then it would probably be ok.

I checked one out about six months ago. The clerk told me the crosshairs are etched onto the glass, which is different. I really didn't care for it, it had a cheap feel and look to it. Just my opinion, it maybe great for all I know!!!

Save your money and buy a good scope.

thanks guys...i liked the fact the it had an etched reticle but other than that i'm not sure. appreciate the help!
