Thompson center arms

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these scopes. I am looking for a low power 1.5 x 5 range scope to go on a 30-06 carbine. Thanks

A driend of mine bought an Encore in 375 H&H and got the T/C scope also. After the second shot, the emblem fell off the side of the scope. With factory ammunition, we couldn't keep it in a 10" circle @ 100 yds.,and the scope seemed unresponsive to changes, and then would change POI dramatically. Our next move is to swap it out for a Leupold and try factory ammo again. Haven't done this yet, but I am betting we see a big difference.

Maybe consider...
Bushnell Legend or Nikon Pro Staff 2-7x32 about $110
Bushnell Elite 3200 2-7x32 $170 Great Scope.
Burris Fullfield II 2-7x35 $180 or the 3-9x40w/free binos for $200 Excellent Value.
Nikon Monarch 2-7x32 $225 my personal choice(aside from the Zeiss Conquest)

Thanks for the info, I most likely will go with a nikon or leupold and I might even stick with open sights. I have a leupold vx-1 on my browning A-bolt 300WSM and it is great but am buying a remington 7600 to have as well because I love the feel of a pump action.
