I just bought one at cabelas during a grand opening sale for $44.95 reg. $89.99. It's their pine ridge riflescope in a 3x9-40. I plan on putting it on a .308. Any body have any experiences with this scope. thanks.

Usually you get what you pay for in optics. A $50 scope is a $50 scope. I would have saved up for a better scope.

Yep! I am finally learning that leason!
The materials and technology to produce a rifle that shoots a reasonably decent group is available from cheap to infinity!

The cost of materials alone, for good glass, that will work good, AND hold up over a long time period, tells you that there is a BIG difference in cheap scopes and quality scopes!

I bought one, because I was wanting to buy something for a cheap muzzleloader. The glare was horrible, and after a year, it fogged up easily. It also changed POI. You get what you pay for.
