Default Rifle Scopes

I know there are other brands of scopes being used, but lets just list the most common ones!

My four rifle scopes are all Leupold. Three VariX III 3.5-10x 40 mm and one VX III 3.5-10x 40 mm. I have never had a problem with these scopes. They are bright enough for me to readily target game animals at the limits of legal shooting light (30 minutes before sunup and 30 minutes after sundown for Oklahoma deer hunting and for Colorado elk hunting). Everything I have ever heard about the Leupold customer service and especially the warranty service has been extremely positive. There may be better scopes, but I doubt they would lead to me successfully shooting a game animal that I otherwise would have failed to take with the Leupolds. There may be less expensive scopes providing equal functionality to these Leupolds, but I'm not comfortable that I could get the prompt, positive service that everyone grants Leupold provides. I haven't heard anything that would lead me to buy my next scope from another manufacturer.

I use Luepold, Simmons Aetecs, Bushnells 3200 and Trophy, Nikon and Tasco. Never had a scope fail that was not my own fault.
