First off don't say leopold because the are way over price for what they are and yes I have own one. What do you guys think of the rest of the scope out there in that price range.

I own 3 Leupolds 2 3.5x10x40 VXIII's 3x9x40 VXII. Ijust recently bought a 4.5-14x42 Fullfield II B-Plex. I bought it because I am short on funds. SO far I am pleased and can't tell the difference at the range, but will let you know if I still feel the same after 4th season.

If you are pleased with Burris stay with them.

I'd be hard pressed to buy anything but a nikon monarch or buckmaster, and I definately wouldn't ever pay my hard-earned cash buying an overhyped scope with a leupold brand name printed on it. I've owned monarchs so far and have to say they are absolutely gorgeous and clear scopes. Solid adjustments, spectacular clarity and light absorption, precise parallax adjustment, and an overall fantastic piece of glass worth every penny! If you don't want to drop 300-350 finding a monarch (350 seems like a steal to me anyway) you could go to buckmaster which should be just as durable and I'm sure are great scopes in themselves, but I'd gladly pay the money for the monarch - just an added touch of class and quality.

They have lifetime warranties too, transferrable between owners.

Ditto Between Burris Sign Series, Varix III/VXIII, Nikon Monarch and 4200 elite the conquest is the winner to my eye. I have owned or still own all of the above so it is based on field experience not just in store side by sides.

Good Luck
