Jason Scopes
Anyone ever hear or have had a Jason brand scope. I inheritted a Jason scope from my deceased father, in 4x32. It looks pretty antiquated.

RE: Jason Scopes
So, no one has any experience/knowledge of them? It must be a cheaper and defunct scope.

RE: Jason Scopes
I had never heard of a Jason scope, but if you do a Google on "Jason Scopes" there is a little information on them. They were bought out by Bushnell in 1992.

RE: Jason Scopes
I did a search and nothing really comes up besides they were bought out by Bushnell.

I had a Jason scope on my first deer rifle that I bought in 1972. The rifle cost $110 and the scope cost $50. It worked but had to be zeroed every year. After the 1979 season I moved and the rifle went in the closet for 28 years. In 2007 I pulled it out the closet, shot half a box of cartridges to sight it in, and took a deer that fall. When I tried hunting the January antlerless season the zero had moved 4 inches left at 100 yards. By the 2008 season I had a different scope.
I still have it but am not certain which drawer it is in. It is clear but wouldn't give it away unless you want it to decorate a "wall-hanger". |
