Anyone ever hear or have had a Jason brand scope. I inheritted a Jason scope from my deceased father, in 4x32. It looks pretty antiquated.

So, no one has any experience/knowledge of them? It must be a cheaper and defunct scope.

I had never heard of a Jason scope, but if you do a Google on "Jason Scopes" there is a little information on them. They were bought out by Bushnell in 1992.

Do you still have it? Would you like to get rid of it? If so how much? It’s fairly old may not even be worth seeing if it works or will hold a good sight in. Like another user said can’t find much online about them and the sold out to bushnell in 1992? And bushnell sells entry level stuff it’s not a Nikko. Anyway if you see this let me know I like older used scopes as long as they don’t cost more then they are worth

I had a Jason scope on my first deer rifle that I bought in 1972. The rifle cost $110 and the scope cost $50. It worked but had to be zeroed every year. After the 1979 season I moved and the rifle went in the closet for 28 years. In 2007 I pulled it out the closet, shot half a box of cartridges to sight it in, and took a deer that fall. When I tried hunting the January antlerless season the zero had moved 4 inches left at 100 yards. By the 2008 season I had a different scope.

I still have it but am not certain which drawer it is in. It is clear but wouldn't give it away unless you want it to decorate a "wall-hanger".
