RE: Money HC
The entry fee and payback will done the same as the other classes (MBO,MBR) at the national shoots.

RE: Money HC
eb,
The straight answer to your question is as follows. For the National Triple Crown shoots that are next on the schedule of IBO events the entry fee is $45. For each shooter, that shoots in the particular class that you are intrested in, $10 out of the $45 entry fee will go into the paypack pot. A point to keep in mind is that if the 2004 shooter of the year for the particular class, is participating in the particular shoot he or she does not have to pay an entry fee, hence $10 for him/her will not be added to the payout pot. The sum of the payout pot for the particular class that you are intrested in will be divided in accordance to the number of places to be paid. The number of places to be paid is determined by the total number of shooters in the class. Twenty percent of the total number of shooters will be paid. As an example if your class has 20 shooters in it, then 4 places will be paid. IBO has developed a schedule that breaks down the percentage to be paid to each place and the administration refers to it as "PRO_PAY.XLS". The schedule is available for the asking. In refering back to the above example that I gave, the 4 places will divide the sum of the payout pot according to the following percentages. 1st = 40% 2nd = 30% 3rd = 20% 4th = 10% eb, I am not offering the above explanation as being an official answer. I do hope that if I have misrepresented the correct answer that the IBO administration will see fit to offer corrections instead of mearly pointing out that my attempt to shed some light on a question that is asked frequently, missed the mark. Hope this helps not only you but other IBO members as well. Milton Callaway 21st Century Longbows |
RE: Money HC
You got it about as good as I could.
I would add one thing, using a small group (class) to show the breakdown can be confusing when the class is large. Because the individual percentage for a place becomes smaller with more shooters being paid. Translation: if there are 20 checks being cut for a class the percent a shooter is paid would be smaller than if three are being paid. But as was mentioned before, we will send a copy of the graph if anyone would like it. ken12 |
RE: Money HC

RE: Money HC
yes. the class will be on a 1yr. probation same as all new classes. the shooters in the CLASS will be able to turn their suggestions in to the IBO booth as to what changes they would like to see, if there is enough participation to keep the class the changes will be discussed at the fall board meeting and put into effect for the following year.
