Equipment checks, I have heard about them but I am not sure if Iam ok. Here is the info if anyone can help.
HC CLASS, 29" DRAW,281/2" ARROW@392 GRAINS,59LB. DRAW AND SPEED OF ARROW WAS 244 WHEN LAST CHECKED IN DEC. i think I am ok with room to slare. Thanks

You are fine not even close to being illeagle. You have a choice of how you get checked. You can chose weight ( 5 grains per pound 60lbs = 300grain arrow) or speed ( 280 feet per second). It is your choice even if you get to a check station that dosent have a chronagraph you can still choose to be checked by speed instead of weight. I had this happen to me at Erie last year. I was shooting a Q2XL with a 304grain arrow on 66lbs. But my arrow speed was 279 to 280. They did not have a chronagraph at this station. I knew it was my choice weight or speed and I chose speed. Its not the shooters responsiblity to bring a scale or chronagraph to the check station. But dont let anyone tell you its not your choice.
