The southern Triple crown are to follow the same shoot format as the national triple crown when it comes to the pro and semi-pro classes the oversight was at the first shoot. Also this is not new it was done a couple of years ago at the request of these two classes.

then let it be written in the rule book, then. As they are new shooters coming to IBO every year.So when we go to a shoot and one shoot does it one way then let it run that way the entire year. When one shows up and makes there schedule based on what he or she did at one shoot, and thinking same way will work at another, it kinda messes up the schedule that he o r she may have made in advance to even make the shoot.
All I am saying be more caring of your shooters, for without the shooters there wouldnt be a IBO nor ASA.This could have caused major problems, if i had attended, the rome shoot, but one of my freinds did, and he drove over 3 hours to shoot 10 friday, and was told no.And when its not in the rule book then it looks liek somone makes rules up as they go.Lets all work together, and have fun, and have a relaxed shoot.

Not only does it cause frustration with the shooter that was told he couldn't shoot until Saturday, but it also puts a burden on the groups that had to shoot the same ranges as the Pro's and Semi-pro's. Pro's and Semi-Pro's don't have to follow the 2 minute rule like the amatures, so we have to wait 30 minutes behind 2 groups of Pro's on Sunday with 20 targets to shoot before 1:00. We finished the 10 target range at 11:30, then they had to drive all the way over to the other ranges 2 miles away and try to finish by 1:00. This stinks. Need some rule changes or let the Pro's / Semi Pro's shoot their own ranges. I like IBO compared to ASA simply because of the freedom to shoot 10 at a time or all 40 if I want to, but you can't shoot 40 targets in 6 hours if you have to walk 2 miles on each 10 target range and drive 2 miles and shoot behind the Pro's / Semi Pro's.

Who said Pro's don't have to follow the 2 min. rule? There is no exception to that rule.
