Michigan State Championship Payback?!

Ok what's the deal...it's been a little over month now and no final results posted...all I know is that I won Hunter Class because I recieved a plaque saying so from the host club earlier this week...however, no check. Now I'm a little confused, I was under the impression that with the amount of archers who participated in the Hunter Class over the course of two days, that there would be a little payback. So what gives?

A simple phone call to the host club will more than likely resolve any problems. Ask them if they have a web site, that's where the state results would be posted.

Ewolf, I'm not in this for the money...all I'm saying is, there hasn't been a payback. No one from the shoot has recieved their checks yet....Not even the Open or Pro shooters.

Doc,
Judy is contacting the hosts to get information..
It is the option of the host organization to decide if a purse is paid or whether they will award plaques or trophys. Some do both.
We do require them to follow through by agreement.
But as a side note how come you posted this on the forum instead of contacting us earlier.
I am always curious about these things.

BOWPRO,

It would be nice if someone from IBO could contact the club that hosted the IBO Alabama state championship also. I still have not recieved a plaque from this club.. Howard Hill Archery Club in Wilsonville Alabama.... It would be appreciated.

OK I talked to the Host Club for the Michigan State and he told me that it was not a money payback, they gave plaques.

And the Alabama State gave back money and not plaques.
Hope this clears it all up.
Judy

RE: Michigan State Championship Payback?!

Okay folks, at the AL I.B.O. state championship at Howard hill archery club we paid back money and plaques. The checks for the money winners were sent out with the invitation for the I.B.O. world. Along with a note stating that the plaques were backordered and would be forwarded as soon as they came in. The plaques did come in but were not the ones we ordered and they were returned, have not been able to contact these people for the past week so it looks like we have to order from someone else and pay another $350. But rest assured everyone that gets a plaque will get a plaque. As far the money paid out Mr. bjcrawfo your class had 12 people we played three places and I'm sorry $38 is not enough you. check our website www.Howardhillarcheryclub.com to get most of this information are call our e-mail me.. We had over $1600 in door prizes that we gave away Sunday including an $800 two day hog Hunt. I was hoping for a better turnout that weekend but due to the extremely bad weather was just glad to get the shoot finished. But thought everyone had a good time Randy Allen, President, Howard Hill Archery Club
