Hunter Class Rule

:eek:Hello all,

I have a question about the Hunter Class stabilizer rule.
I understand the one 12 inch stabilizer, from nearest point of attachment, rule, with this exception: Are back weights allowed if attached to the back of the riser.

For example:
I was told that in addition to my 12" front stabilizer, I can attach my 5 oz. doinker to the back of the riser.
This has proven to enhance the balance and performance of my bows, with regard to my set up.
The more people I ask this question to, the more different answers I get back.

I look forward to an offficial answer so I can put this to rest.

Thanks
Gady

RE: Hunter Class Rule

this is not an official answer to your question, but, according to the rules on the ibo home page, as i understand them, only one stabilizer is allowed in the hunter class. look under classes and definitions. it is pretty cut and dried......the rule you are talking about could be a local club rule, but not an ibo rule......as stated, one, and only one......good luck.....

**Secondary vibration dampeners may be used in the hunter classes that extend less than two (2) inches, from point of attachment. These vibration dampeners are not counter weights, and weight may not be added to one.
