Bowtech Help????????
 

I am going to get a new Bowtech but I am not sure which one I like more. Right now I am stuck between the Extreme and the Patriot. I am a 29" Draw and I prefer shooting around 63lbs. I want to have a speed around 295-300fps. I have shot the patriot but I have not shot the extreme. Any input would be appreciated.

For you draw length I would go for the Patriot or the Liberty. Both is super smooth and shoot very well. Both would also be in that speed range. If I only had that long of a draw length :D[8D] Junkie

My buddy shoots 63# at 29' and get 305fps out of his pro 40 dually.
I dont think a extreme or a patriot solo would shoot 300fps at 63# at 29"
If you got a dually patriot it might
I just got my 2004 pro 40 dually and it smokes 30" 63# 325fps

I don't think I want to go back to a two cam bow. I like a solo much better.

I don't think you would have any problems getting 300fps with the Extreme VFT,I shoot mine at 67 pounds and 29" draw weight,paper that came with my bow states bow shot 317fps with a 29" draw,70 pounds of weight and a 350 grain arrow.If you are looking for speed,I wouldn't recomend the Liberty or the Justice,Bows coming in with new Freedom cam's are shooting slower then bows equiped with Infinity cam.But,I would also recomend shooting all of the bows in question before you buy one if you can.

The extreme and the patriot are both nice bows but the pat has a much higher brace height which would make it more forgiving.If you want to stick with a single cam i think you would get more speed with the extreme,but the pat woulden't be that much farther behind it.If you really want the speed and the forgiveness go with the pat dually.JMO:D

The Extreme VFT is fast, I found it easier to shoot than the Pat but that's just me, I have one the 2001 Extreme Solo that is my fastest bow of yet but I do like my new Justice VFT- it isn't as fast but easier to draw and feels great.

Maverick, if you're looking to buy new, I'd choose the Patriot. The 04 has bearings in the cam and idler, pivoting limb pockets, and new style riser. The VFT is unchanged from 03. With the Pat you give up 5 fps but gain 1/2" brace height.

I just bought a Liberty and love it, only complaint would be the narrow grip but I'm gonna change that. My good friend has a Patriot with the Infinity cam and is VERY happy with it (he sold his Mathews Icon to get his Bow Tech!) We both shot the Extreme VFT, it's a nice shooting bow but is a little short on the brace height, good speed! If you use a drop away rest or overdraw, I would go with either the Patiot or the Liberty. (the Freedom Cam on my Liberty is AWESOME!!!) GOOD LUCK!:D

I believe any bowtech will meet your needs.I shoot a Renegade Tominator#2 ,but have shot every bowtech made the last 3 yrs.They all can shoot into the 300 fps range or faster. IBO legal weight.If cash was not involved i would have one of every bow they make.
The new LIBERTY,and JUSTICE are selling as fast as they can produce them.
One shot sale these two bows are.Cause thats all u need SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!
