Normal channels for distribution of this sort of information is through the magazine. It goes to all head of household members.
We thought the 11 scoring after the poll was a non issue. The result was better than 4 to 1 in favor of 11 scoring.

Keep the 11 ring. Quit altering the rules on scoreing.. leave it alone, and everyone will get use to it, and then maybe, they will start aiming for a perfect center shot on the target.. You know AIM SMALL, MISS SMALL

Keep the 11 ring!!! I can' t hit it but I like to know that I at least have a chance to make up my many 5' s.

Now if archer #1 shoots shoots a five with six 11s for a 201
and archer #2 shoots clean with a 200
who should win the archer who shot the deer so far down in the leg that it broke his arrow in the rebar or the guy who shot consistant all day?
Just food for thought.

Well, that' s a good one. I feel the 200 is actually better shooting. Maybe there should only be 11, 10, 8. Out of the kill is 0. I would not, however, eliminate the 5 for Future Bowhunters or Cubs.

RE: IBO 2004 rules

It all depends on your definition of " good shooting" . In the case of teh 201 guy, if a " good" shot is an 11, he got lots of em. In the case of the 200 guy, well heck, he missed what he was shooting at EVERY time.

The problem with this is you can come up with scenarios to prove/disprove either method being the most fair.
