Compitition Setup
 

I was wondering about my setup for competition. I just got a new Bowtech Tech29. I am only shooting in Youth Class since I am only 16 yrs old. I am shooting 27.5" Carbow Express 300's @ about 62# and 28" draw. I use a Scott Shark release. I use a 10" Deadshot X-ring w/ a 7" Carbon X-Ring screwed into it. I am currently shooting about 2" groups at 30yds. I was wondering if it was very realistic that i could be decent enough to stay w/ the top of my class w/ such a short ATA bow w/ a 6.5" brace height? I feel confident w/ it but i have hear that i bought the wrong bow to shoot any kind of copitition with. Is this true????

If your shooting it good and consistantly stick with it. Some people can shoot short A-to-A bows better than others, but after you get real serious in competition try one of the longer bows such as the pro 38 or 40. It sounds like your shooting pretty good already. Have fun and Good>>>-------->Shootin

Thanks for the opinions guys. By the way i just had my first shoot of the year today. I placed first in my division (YMR 15-17) with a score of 189. And my second round i shot from Audlt class ( MBO, MBR< etc.) and i shot in the low 160's. So i think that i will be able to shoot this bow well until i can buy a good comp bow.
