The kids at the world

Last year I saw a bunch of kids shooting that the world and when I told my daughter about it she said that next year she is doing it.

What do I need to do? Does she need to fill out any paper work or register?

How old of Kids are we talking about? Future Bowhunters do not need to qualify, older kids are a different situation. Need more info.

there are two " kids" things for her. the first I think happens on Thursday afternoon and its the Kids jamoboree usually with Joella Bates, she does an AWESOME job with the kids and most/all kids get something, she runs the vendors looking for donations. When my kids did this they didn' t shoot much, but she talks about archery and how fun it is etc.

The second thing is the FBH Shoot, I think on Friday afternoon. This is a 10 target " course" they shoot and keep score, nobody " wins" and they all get a goodie bag (at least they use to when my kids did it).

For the FBH or Future Bowhunters, you need to register your daughter when you get there. The age is 8 and under. We had 92 FBH' s last year. Everyone is a winner!

Yes, 10 targets are set up for them usually at Skidder Slope on Saturday at 4:00, but I have not seen this years " Tournament Event" program yet.
Don' t forget about Joella' s Youth Jamoree which is lots of fun for the kids. That is usually on Thursday.
:D

There is not a fee for the Future Bowhunters Class. They usually shoot it late afternoon as I recall. Whether or not you will be done shooting will depend on when your start times are. If you don' t start shooting untill the afternoon, I' d line up a backup person to make sure junior gets where he/she needs to be. It' s a lot of fun to watch, even if you don' t have a youngster shooting.

There is a $10.00 fee for Future Bowhunters. Lots of prizes to win and every one wins!

I have a 4yr old that is going to shoot in the FBU shoot. She dosen`t have a big choice of equipment because of her age, size and her dads limited funds. She is shooting one of those little red kids bows like they sell at walmart. The problem is she cant pull the bow all the way back so I get behind her and pull her elbow back.I dont tuch the handle just her elbow. Is this going to be a problem at the FBU shoot.[8D]
