RE: Kentucky State Championship

ronda, i shot on monday at the forks, is that not a great place to shoot or what? i am glad you went on sunday to feed the ticks, i never had a single passenger all day.....

rob and the guys at the forks are a top notch bunch of folks, and there was a lot of hard work setting the ranges, you know walking 50 yards to set each target:D

i have shot a lot of ranges including the ibo triple crown, and that range rivals any i have ever shot in the ibo.....really tough for you to get ahead there and stay that way...i got tricked several times on yardage, the 48 yard rinehart bedded deer by the barn was a real tough shot...i only put 41 on it, and, well, you know the result there, a very lucky 5. there were only two shooter that i heard of that shot more yardage than i did, and one shot a low 10, the other a pinwheel 5 just like mine...

that weekend is penciled in for next year as well, and anyone that lives within a few hours of there really should try to attend. the terrain is gently rolling, for the most part flat. there are field shots, woods shots, woods to field, field to woods, long, short, the 38 yard carribou was a mean trick, im glad they have to replace the back in it[>:]cause the 10 ring sure isnt hurt....:D

and ronda, the folks at white oak are shooting this weekend in junction city, see you there?
