Back to my initial point. 3-D is the engine that so far supports all that we do.
That level of support deserves the coverage for those that participate.
But, you are correct about telling people more about whats up.
I just got off the phone with Jeff from Hunting.net (host for the web site) I have asked him to look into adding the module to support a Bowhunting/political./educational/info section. This costs very little and was on the table for inclusion, but just had not gotten installed.
Even the timing is good. They have gone to a new system that will allow inclusion of pictures, charts tables and other means of showing graphical data. That may make the data more palatable.
rather than debating the points, I thank you for the motivation and ideas prompt.

Ken & J.R.,
Thanks again for the input on what the IBO does. That' s exactly what I' d like to see get more attention. It shows that the IBO is more than a foam-punching group, and that' s very important IMO.

These are the types of information that really promote and explain what is really happening within the IBO and should be put into a format here on this cite that becomes a regular positive piece of corresponding. Since this post was started by

Ken,
I understand what the IBO does....ALOT. However, I agree, there should be a " what' s new in bowhunting from the IBO" section. I learned of IBO' s involvement with the US Sportsmans Alliance by reading their newsletter. This is something to be proud of and the IBO should wave that flag....maybe some other organizations will at least try to match what the IBO does!!!!

This is the most informative piece that I have ever read on this foum. I hope you will note that the thread that I am posting is in the first 15, but the number of readers is allready over 110. Many threads are read humdreds of times more than any replies. This is a forum where not every one wants to comment but they are reading the information that is posted. If all of the information regarding bowhunting issues gets posted here by your office or Mr. Absner I' m sure that it will expand the usage of this cite and create better understanding of the IBO as a whole. Many of the things that may seem unimportant to some people regarding bowhunting when posted would still maintain the perception and mission of the IBO to members and non members.
3D is Very important as is Bowunting and it should unite us all. The 3D portion of the sport is much more visable than Bowhunting because it has no season but at times many people shift gears. The IBO is the leader for many people in the sport and their best presentation of all the facts should always be the mission.

And I always assumed you guys lived to read JR' s and my columns in the magazine.
We have had the section planned for the web site.Other committments and time(read money) are always a constraint.
But now is the time. We will get it up as soon as they can get the database established.
I will say up front, much will be posted as a synopsis or as a summary. We must keep a lot of info and plans on a closely held basis. You would understand if we are to go into a fight and do not publish our cards ahead of time. Who knows Wayne Pacelle might happen to drop by the web site sometime.
So anyway the next time someone asks, you will have a little info.
Also, having a writer and editor working with us like JR does so many things for us before an issue " happens" is sometimes beyond belief. Often a potential issue doen' t happen because of his knowledge of the issues and players
FYI, he is a writer for many magazines Sports Afield (writer/editor) Bowhunting World,Petersons Hunting end many, many more. He is very well known and respected in the field for his insightful and knowledgeable articles. Especially related to the political end of our passion.
Besides that he is the guy that takes the drivel that I provide him for articles from me, and turns it into something reasonably cognizant.
He has not gotten involved in discussions and arguments here because other things take up so much of his time.
If any of you would like him to add you to his list of info/ releases let us know.

Thanks Again.
