RE: sight restrictions for hc

I BELIEVE THAT IT CANNOT EXTEND PAST 12 INCHES, JUST LIKE THE STABILIZER. BUT YOU CAN CHECK IBO.NET IN THE RULES. I SHOOT A CUSTOM BOW EQUIPMENT EXTENDED ALL THE WAY OUT AND NOTHING WAS SAID. I JUST CHECKED THE RULES AND IT DOES NOT MENTION SIGHT BAR IN PARTICULAR, BUT I WOULD ON POSTULATE THAT NOTHING MAY EXTEND PAST 12 INCHES.

The 6 inch extension bar will be fine. I used the 9 inch bar on my Copper John.

It doesn' t have to be " non-adjustable" ,you just can' t adjust it on the range.12 inch max.

I think a scope would be out in hunter class as you are not allowed and kind of lens.

Fixed Pins.
No reference to a lens being legal.
No lens.

You could still use a scope without the lens, with one pin or up to four as long as there is no lens and you don' t move it.

Yes that sight pictured you can switch from a scope to pins and back as long as you have the extra mounting unit.

Bustedwin,
I use the exact setup the is shown in the picture above. I shoot MBR but it is legal for HC. I Also shoot scope indoors. It takes about 5 sec to switch from pins to scope.

I don' t like too much extention myself, just for the sake of greater sight distance. Not sure how much that helps, I mean it should help quite a bit, but I just don' t get the results myself. It can help you tune your peep for sight clarity.
