I just shot the Winter Nationals with a archer that was shooting them. He said he liked how they flew but they were not very durable at all.

They work just fine. I haven't hade any durability problems. Just keep them out of trees or stands or walls. If you keep them in the "foam" you won't have any problems. Just be aware they don't like heat to remove the tips very much. So, make sure you know what tip weight you want before you glue them in. As far as the nock insert, I use Easton 2213 bushng for my CXL 250.

storm, i shot the cxl 250 for a while. they shot great, a little suspect on the durability though. i used the shrewsberry bushings in mine, and i helped a little, but end result was it just drove the bushing into the shaft.

i had a little problem with the arrows in the wind. i used a 28.5 inch arrow with 115 grains in the point, and still had wind drift. i opted not to use the arrows because of the wind drift problem. the shaft is super light, my arrows complete weighed in at 322 grains, so the big diameter didnt help.

This is good stuff! I would appreciate more post to get a better feel for whether or not there is a true fragile problem with these arrows.
Thanks So Much For Your Help!!!

Storm,

I'll throw another brand in the mix. Blackhawk, Vapor23 Speed. A very light arrow, pretty good durability, and a fat shaft and you can get them with or with out knock insert. My problem with the durability is when I miss...lol Other than that little factor I love them. Just MHO

Regards,
OBS

I've shot these arrows for just about 1 year now and I love them.
Shot them from 0 degrees to 95,they held up fine and they have gained me a few points here and there because of there diameter.
