Winter Nationals

Ok. What did everybody think? Sorry about the wind. Weather like we had this year is unheard of for the last of January. Next year it will probably be snowing.

I think it was great. The whole tournament seemed to go real smooth. We'll be back next year for sure. The accomadations were great, hospitality great and the courses very challenging. We can't control the weather and the wind made it tough but it also made it a shoot I'll never forget. My wife agreed also. For those who didn't make it, pencil it in for next year...

Thanks,
J. Shoot

By the way I shoot MBR and my wife FBR (She won First)!!!!!!!!

Maybe we ought to change the name to Windy Nationals. This was my 1st IBO shoot and learning to shoot with 20 to 35 mile per hour winds was worth losing 4 arrows.

I normally do not lose any arrows, so I had only brought 5. The fifth arrow shattered on the T-Post on the practice range on day 2. Day 1 I lost 2 arrows and day 2 I lost 2 arrows, but found a arrow that fit my bow perfectly. The found arrow saved me because I had to use it on the last 5 targets. So whoever lost their CXL 150, 25.5 inch arrow - THANKS!!

I can't wait for the next Texas tournement.

if it has all blue or all purple 4" flexfletch vanes and a yellow nock, it was one of ours. you're welcome. hope it did better for you.

shoot it in good health.

(it was obviously defective or we wouldn't have missed.)

Nope, it had yellow 2.5 inch Duravanes. It worked better than my Carbon Epics and I've decide to get the CXL's to replace my lost arrows.
