Clearcut triumps "big time" over Jim Doyle @ the IBO "windy" nationals shootout in Ft Worth!

Clearcuts "enforcer" short bowed JD's big mach 10!!

Before the shoot JD said he was a "shoe in" but got the "boot" instead.

JD's "arrowsmith" musta loaded his arrows with "blanks" er somethin!
Heck, it wasn't even a fair fight.

JD hadda headfulla hair (red on top at that)and Clearcut only had a chromed dome!

Actually both of em ran otta gas halfway thru the shoot ---- lesson to be learned--- never eat "beano" for breakfast before a shoot!

So, that means JD gotta "eat crow" while Clearcut eats a JD sponsored "something" and the good lord only knows what JD got "cooked up" for that!!

Well, at least JD has a long ride home . . lots of time to make up excuses . . . CC probably shined up that dome of his so glare would blind poor 'ol JD.
I'm sure I'll get to hear all about it from CC at the first leg of the Southern Triple Crown.
How about it JD . . go to Valley, AL. and challenge CC to a rematch. How about 2 out of 3?

I will pass on your thanks to the club.
I have also arranged a hog hunt out on the ranch as well.
I found the people from the ranch to be very eager to please and very helpful.

I've never been known to just take something and run with it>>>like the "million dollar bill", that JD gave to me as "prize money" for the match we had, so here's what I'm gonna do: JD said he's gonna make it to the ASA shoot at Oak Ride, Tennessee, so now it's "my turn">>>JD I'm callin you out this time for round TWO !!! AND I'm putting that One Million Dollar Bill" you gave me up for grabs. If I win Round Two, then it's mine forever to invest in Worldcom, or some other hi-falootin organization, so I can make my first million. If I lose Round Two, then there will have to be a rubber match at a later date >>> Sound fair to you ???

We arrived in Gainesville last night at 7:30, and hadda big problem this a.m. >>> My chest was so pumped up over my big "win" at Fort Worth, that this mornin it fell, and my last years pants won't fit no more now !!!

Hope you and Ethel had a safe trip home, as it didn't look to me like the weather was very favorable.

We sure enjoyed meeting everyone, and visiting. Also, Hats off to the Cowtown Bowman for a good shoot, even though the wind messed up my hair, and Sunday blew so hard it messed up my mustache, and that is a catastrophy !!!

The Lord willin we can all be together again next year!

Hey there JD&gt;&gt;&gt;I'm shiverin in ma boots already about Oak Ridge&gt;&gt;&gt;I better be sharp, and maybe I'll upgrade my bow by then. Just came back from the shoot site&gt;&gt;&gt;we were practicing&gt;&gt;&gt;only could get a 3 arrow group of 1 1/2&quot; at 45yds with my little one, and that ain't good enuf to beat you at Oak Ridge&gt;&gt;&gt;will hafta get a better one by then. I'd even sell my little one if someone wanted to buy it. Why don't you buy it, then you could beat me with my own bow !!! That's happened before I here tell.

It's sposed to rain here tomorrow and Sat, but I shot in the rain before.

I got my call from you know who at noon today&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;Bah Humbug!!!!!!!!!
