Arrow size limitation ?
 
i heard a rumor that several organizations including the ibo where looking into a size limit on arrows.....right now eastom makes a 27xx size arrow that im told only pros can get.....tim gillingham showed up at the iowa pro am with arrows that where 5/8 inches in diameter....wow...these things where huge.....is this true...and if so will this be included in this years rules.....for anyone wondering... i shoot GT pro series 22s......... so i really dont care....just wondering...........

My understanding is that on Friday the IBO,ASA & NFAA sat down together and adopted a rule that would allow arrows upto .425 diameter. This would include the Easton 27/64 and your GT 22 would be well within the limit.

TheIBO, ASA and NFAA diddiscuss this at the ATA Show
BUT nothingwasadopted by the IBO.

Itwill bediscussed by the IBO Board of Directors very soon.

Again this was not adopted at the ATA Show by the IBO Board.

The NFAA can only do it at their regular meetings and has to be voted on by the states so No the NFAA hasnt adopted any size ruling as yet
