Regional IBO Triple Crowns
 

For your convenience I have listed regional IBO Triple Crowns (World Qualifiers) that have been scheduled across the country.
On our web site www.ibo.net look under IBO NEWS UPDATES.
These are sanctioned IBO events where three clubs come together and make their World Qualifiers a three shoot tournament.
In 2003 we are happy to report we have 9 reginal Triple Crown's schedule.

Thanks, Judy4! I never knew there were so many triple crowns. Have only been shooting for a little over a year now. Have a lot to learn.
This might be a stupid question, but what makes these triple crowns different from the ones that go towards the SOY program? When I learned about the Northeast Triple Crown, I thought maybe that was included. Found out it wasn't. Not many friendly people on this forum when I ask questions or state my opinion on a subject. I have to learn these things and I thought that asking them on this forum would get my questions answered. I don't see why people have to be rude with their comments. I know that I won't be stating my opinions on this forum again. But, I will probably be asking some dumb questions again. Thanks, for all your info on this forum. It has been very helpful to me.

We have had regional triple crowns forever, but we haven't had a good way of posting them or publishing them. I'm working on that for the forum. What makes these regional triple crowns different from the National Triple, - there are only two reconized national or world IBO titles, The National Championship Triple Crown title and the IBO World Champion.
While IBO developed the world event, the original host clubs developed the National Triple Crown. They also started IBO.
IBO sanctions events. We can sanction a local qualifier,a state championship, the national events or the world championship. Beyond the sanction a local host must do the promotion for those events.We can offer help and assistance but it ultimately it is up to them.
We would like for the NE Triple Crown as well as ALL these events to be hugely successful. We can help promote this series of events.
But,(of course there is always a but) the success of these events will be up to the hosts,the promotion and you the shooters.
SOY is set up as a promotional tool for all IBO National events.
As for rude people.....I don't need to tell you about people and their passions....very strong feelings and opinions...whatever the passion. What I dislike even more is rude people in stores....but,
I still go in those stores. What I mean is this is our Life, rude people and nice people, I've learned to live with it....it beats the alternative.

Judy, Back some time ago I believe I read that the Southern Triple Crown is included for the SOY program. Is this true or am I wrong? If I am correct, do you think that the Northeast Triple Crown might be included for SOY? Just a thought.

As for rude people, I truly agree with you and fasttfletch. I will always enjoy coming to this forum. I learn a lot of info here. There are some very nice people on here that answered my questions on different subjects and have stated their opinions quite nicely, even if they didn't agree with mine. Their the ones I respect and might even consider their opinion from time to time.

We are in the middle of the shoot year. As such the program is in place. Could it be included in the future? Boards decision.
I do not know and could not possibly speculate.

i wasn't talking about this year. I know the program is in place for this coming year and that the board has had their meeting. Was just asking if the Southern triple crown is included in SOY and asking if it's possible that the Northeast triple crown would be included as well. Maybe they wouldn't want the extra work. Don't know, just asking.
