Jack Wallace in an accident

Some of you may have heard, but Jack Wallace was in a serious automobile accident this morning. He has numerous injuries as does the passenger with him in the vehicle.
At this time I would ask all to say a prayer for Jack and his family. Our IBO family wishes Jack a full and complete recovery.

I know many are looking for updates on Jack's condition, so I copied this from another archery forum.

originally posted by gt:

"Jack Wallace update
Second hand via Tim Strickland- Jack is in recovery after extensive surgery. He is coherent and able to speak.

More surgery and a very long recovery are still ahead but it appears that he is doing much better than expected- it turns out the first responders to the accident scene thought they would lose him in the extrication."

I heard he was recovering in a Zanesville hospital. Spoke to Derry Null, he said his recovery will be a long one, but his attitude was as strong as ever. He's ready to do whatever it takes to get back on his winning way.

I talked to Jack last week at home and is doing well. His girl friend and him was in a bad car accident with a semi truck, and she broke several ribs and punctured her lung. She is doing great but still in pain for awhile. Jack had a busted up hip, ankle.left wrist, right biecept, which has a metal rod in place now and broken eye socket. He is at home now in a wheel chair, for awhile but I know Jackie he'll be up and walking soon.He told me that he will try to make the shot show on two legs, not two wheels. He is in great spirits and joked about his hip parts and the metal in his wrist and arm, saying it might give him a better advantage over the rest of the guys. Keep him and his girl friend in your prayers!!
